Kenneth Milberg, Systems Consultant, Unix-Linux Solutions
Kenneth Milberg is systems consultant with his own independent consulting firm,Unix-Linux Solutions. He has fifteen years' worth of experience with Unix and Linux systems, as well as broad technical and functional experience with AIX, HP, SCO, Linux and Solaris. Milberg holds certifications with IBM (IBM Certified Systems Expert -- eServer p5 and pSeries Enterprise Technical Support AIX 5L V5.3 & IBM Certified Specialist –HACMP), SUN (SCNA,SCSA), HP (HP Certified –HP-UX administration) Cisco (CCNA) and Oracle (OCP-DBO).
Milberg has designed, installed, configured, deployed and administered various Unix infrastructures, most recently IBM p5 Servers running AIX 5.3. His recent experience includes Empire Blue Cross & Blue Shield, where he functioned as the Unix/AIX Manager, leading the AIX Team in their effort to migrate p4 LPARs and stand-alone RS6000s to the p5, using VIO servers, micro-partitioning and uncapped partitions. He also has experience as a consultant with IBM, where he functioned as an AIX Consultant/Administrator.
Milberg is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College and currently a candidate for a Master of Science Degree in Technology Management, at UMUC. This NYC-area resident is kept busy by a wife, four children, and a dog. |
