Each application comes preconfigured and shares common GUI, logging and reporting features for a comprehensive security for services such as anti-spam, anti-spyware, antivirus, Web filtering, phish blocking, denial-of-service blocking, virtual private network (VPN), intrusion-prevention system (IPS), and firewall. And Untangle's "virtual pipelining" technology decreases latency, enabling each application to inspect network traffic in process.
